Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi has released the VMMC Safdarjung Hospital Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 notification for 179 Senior Resident (Adhoc) vacancies across various departments and specialties. Candidates possessing an MBBS degree along with MD/MS/DNB/MDS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant specialty can participate in the walk-in interviews scheduled from 15 June to 25 June 2026.

Selected candidates will receive a salary of ₹67,700 per month (Pay Level-11) plus admissible allowances, and appointments will initially be made for 89 days, extendable based on performance and institutional requirements. The recruitment offers opportunities in departments including Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Radiology, Orthopaedics, Emergency Medicine, and several other specialties.

Educational Qualification

• MBBS Degree from a recognized institution.
• PG Degree / Diploma / DNB in the concerned specialty recognized by NMC.
• For Dental Surgery (Endodontics), candidates should possess MDS in Endodontics recognized by DCI.
• Candidates should have Delhi Medical Council (DMC) / Delhi Dental Council (DDC) registration or proof of having applied for registration.
• For Reproductive Medicine, preference will be given to candidates having fellowship in Assisted Reproductive Technology or relevant experience.
