The recruitment is for professionals involved in inspection, expediting and monitoring of critical equipment and materials for refinery, petrochemical and other Oil & Gas projects.
A total of 20 Associate Engineer Grade I - Inspection vacancies are available in Mechanical/Metallurgical and Electrical disciplines. Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirements are to be determined as on 31 August 2026. Candidates must possess the prescribed engineering qualification with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPI and the required relevant post-qualification experience.
Associate Engineer Grade I - Inspection (Mechanical/Metallurgical)
- BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPI.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience as on 31 August 2026.
- Experience in inspection of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns/towers, reactors and other major fabricated static equipment manufactured as per ASME.
- Experience with pumps, compressors and similar equipment manufactured and tested as per API for refinery and petrochemical services is relevant.
- Sound knowledge of welding processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings and codes is desirable.
Associate Engineer Grade I - Inspection (Electrical)
- BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPI.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience as on 31 August 2026.
- Experience in inspection of electrical equipment such as switchboards, motors, transformers, alternators and synchronous generators.
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives, UPS, electrical control systems, battery chargers, power cables and control cables.
- Experience with electrical bulk items such as light fittings, junction boxes, cable jointing kits and cable glands.
- Knowledge of IEC, NEC and IS codes is essential.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The upper age limit for both positions is 32 years as on 31 August 2026.

Salary and Other Benefits
Selected candidates will be engaged as Associate Engineer Grade I and will receive consolidated monthly remuneration including HRA and PF according to the city category.

Other benefits mentioned in the notification include reimbursement of medical insurance premium for self for insurance coverage up to ₹2,00,000 per annum, reimbursement of eligible out-of-pocket expenses for work beyond standard working hours, coverage under the company's GPAI Scheme, travelling allowance for official duties outside the place of posting and paid leave of 2 days for each completed month, subject to company policy.
Place of Posting
The selected candidates may be posted at the National Capital Region, Regional Offices, Regional Procurement Offices, Branch Offices or construction sites located across the country.
Depending on organizational requirements, the place of posting may be anywhere in India or abroad.
Tenure of Engagement
The engagement is purely on a Fixed Term Basis, initially for a period of 3 years, as applicable. Unless terminated earlier, the engagement will automatically come to an end on expiry of the specified period.
Candidates may be required to work anywhere in India or abroad according to organizational requirements. Appointment is also subject to medical fitness.
Working on a fixed-term basis does not create any right or claim for regular appointment in Engineers India Limited.

On the day of the interview, the applications and certificates will be screened to establish eligibility. Only candidates meeting the prescribed requirements in all respects will proceed further.
Candidates who meet the eligibility conditions will be required to appear for the Personal Interview. Depending on the number of candidates, interviews may continue until 8:00 PM on the same day and, if necessary, may continue on the following day. Candidates are responsible for making their own stay arrangements in such a situation.

Documents Required at the Interview
Candidates appearing for the interview must carry the required original documents along with a self-attested photocopy set.
