DVC Executive Trainee GATE 2025 Eligibility
Candidates must have appeared in and qualified in the corresponding GATE 2025 paper applicable to the Executive Trainee discipline. DVC has specifically stated that only GATE 2025 marks out of 100 will be considered for this recruitment. GATE marks from 2024 or earlier are not valid.

DVC Executive Trainee Educational Qualification 2026
Candidates must possess a full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline from an AICTE-approved University/Institution or an institution approved by the appropriate statutory authority.
For General, OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates, the minimum required qualification is 65% marks. For SC, ST and PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 60% marks in aggregate of all years/semesters, according to the conversion formula of the concerned University/Institution.

The qualification must be from an Indian University/Institute recognized by AICTE or the appropriate statutory authority. Candidates whose degree does not have the required approval are not eligible.
DVC Executive Trainee Age Limit 2026
The maximum age limit for Unreserved candidates is 29 years as on the closing date of the online application, i.e. 06 December 2026.
Age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC (NCL), PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines. There is no upper age limit for DVC departmental candidates, provided they also qualify in the corresponding GATE 2025 paper.

DVC Executive Trainee Selection Process 2026
The selection process is based on the marks obtained in the corresponding GATE 2025 paper. Only candidates who have qualified in the relevant GATE 2025 paper will be considered for the subsequent selection stage.
Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) in order of merit based on GATE 2025 marks out of 100. The normal shortlisting ratio will be 1:5 or more against the number of vacancies category-wise in each discipline. If candidates with equal GATE marks cause the ratio to increase, all such candidates will be called for Document Verification. DVC reserves the right to increase or decrease the ratio when required.
Merely qualifying in GATE 2025 does not guarantee a call for Document Verification.
DVC Executive Trainee Salary 2026
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Matrix Level 10 with a pay scale of ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 during the one-year probation period.
After successful completion of the probation period, candidates will be absorbed as Assistant Managers on the same pay scale. The compensation package includes Basic Pay, Central Dearness Allowance (CDA), Medical Reimbursement, Leave Travel Allowance, NPS, Conveyance Allowance, Leave Encashment and HRA, as admissible under DVC rules.
DVC Executive Trainee Service Agreement Bond
Selected candidates must execute a service agreement bond covering the one-year probation period and at least three additional years of service, making the overall service commitment four years.

- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- Only GATE 2025 marks are valid for this recruitment.
