IOB LBO Exam Date 2026
Indian Overseas Bank has officially scheduled the Local Bank Officer online examination on 24 September 2026 (Thursday) and 29 September 2026 (Tuesday).

IOB LBO Negative Marking and Qualifying Marks
There are no sectional qualifying marks in the online examination. However, the minimum qualifying aggregate marks are:
- Reserved category candidates: 30%
- Unreserved category candidates: 35%
There is a penalty for incorrect answers. For every wrong answer, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. There is no penalty for questions left unanswered.

Important Instructions for IOB LBO Exam Day

What Happens After the IOB LBO Online Exam?
The selection process for the IOB Local Bank Officer recruitment consists of the Online Examination, Language Proficiency Test where applicable, and Personal Interview.
Candidates who qualify in the online examination may be called for the Local Language Proficiency Test if they did not study the specified local language of the state applied for in Class 10 or Class 12.
Candidates who can produce a Class 10 or Class 12 marksheet or certificate showing that they studied the specified local language as a subject are not required to undergo the Language Proficiency Test.
