HPRCA Teacher Recruitment 2026 - Salary
The teachers are proposed to be engaged on a fixed honorarium of ₹30,000 per month, payable for 10 months in an academic year, under the applicable Himachal Pradesh Government scheme for engagement of teachers in CBSE-affiliated Government Schools.
The notification makes it clear that these are scheme-based engagements and the teachers will not be treated as Government employees.
HPRCA Teacher Recruitment 2026 - Educational Qualification
The essential qualification varies according to the teaching subject. Candidates must carefully check the qualification prescribed for the particular post code before applying.
English Teacher - Post Code 26046
- M.A./M.Sc. English with 50% marks at Graduation level.
- B.Ed. with English as a compulsory subject.

Economics Teacher

HPRCA Teacher Recruitment 2026 - Examination Mode
The notification states that the examination may be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) or OMR. Examination centres may be changed at the discretion of HPRCA, although efforts will be made to allot candidates their preferred centres.
In case the CBT is conducted in multiple shifts, the scores will be normalized using the Z-Score Method (Mean and Standard Deviation Method) for preparation of the merit list.

Reservation is governed by the reservation policy of the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The notification states that the benefit of reservation for categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, BPL and other applicable categories is available to eligible bona fide residents of Himachal Pradesh.
