SSC Language Expert Empanelment 2026 notification has been released by the Staff Selection Commission for the empanelment of qualified language experts in 13 regional languages. The Commission is inviting applications from experienced faculty members, lecturers, and teachers who possess strong expertise in their respective languages along with working knowledge of English and Hindi.

The empanelment process aims to create a panel of professionals who can assist SSC in translation, language review, validation, and other examination-related language assignments. Applications are being accepted through email from 2 June 2026 to 17 June 2026. Eligible candidates from recognized schools, colleges, and universities can submit their resumes and supporting documents for consideration. Selected experts may be called to work at the SSC Headquarters in New Delhi whenever language-related assignments arise, subject to the Commission's requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant should be working or retired as a Faculty Member, Lecturer, or High School Teacher in the concerned language.
  • The applicant must belong to a recognized School, College, or University.
  • The candidate should possess expertise in the concerned regional language.
  • The applicant should have sound knowledge of English and Hindi in addition to the regional language.

Nature of Engagement

  • The empanelment is purely temporary in nature.
  • Engagement will be made only on a requirement basis.
  • Inclusion in the panel does not guarantee assignment of work.
  • The Commission may engage experts as per its requirements from time to time.

Work Location

Selected Language Experts may be required to visit the Staff Selection Commission Headquarters, CGO Complex, New Delhi for assigned work related to translation, language review, validation, or other language-based activities.

Remuneration

Remuneration will be paid as per the rates approved by the Staff Selection Commission. Detailed payment terms will be communicated at the time of assignment of work.
