Assistant Professor Vacancy 2026

NSUT has announced 39 Assistant Professor vacancies in various departments. The pay scale for Assistant Professor is Level-10, ₹57,700-1,82,400.

Associate Professor Vacancy 2026

NSUT has announced 19 Associate Professor vacancies. The pay scale for Associate Professor is Level-13A1, ₹1,31,400-2,17,100.

Teaching Posts Educational Qualification

• Assistant Professor - Biological Sciences & Engineering / Bio-Technology: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one degree.
• Assistant Professor - Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics: Master's degree with 55% marks in relevant subject and cleared UGC/CSIR NET or SLET/SET; or Ph.D. as per applicable UGC norms; or Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in top 500.
• Assistant Professor - Design: Bachelor's degree or minimum 4-year Diploma and Master's degree or equivalent PG Diploma with First Class in both, plus minimum 2 years professional design experience after Master's; or Integrated Master's Degree with First Class and 3 years professional design experience.
• Assistant Professor - Geo-Informatics: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant discipline with First Class in either Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Associate Professor - Biological Sciences & Engineering / Bio-Technology: Ph.D. in relevant field with First Class and minimum 8 years teaching/research/industry experience with required publications.
• Associate Professor - Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics: Ph.D. in concerned/allied discipline, Master's degree with at least 55% marks, 8 years teaching/research experience, 7 peer-reviewed publications and research score of 75 as per UGC norms.
• Associate Professor - Design: Ph.D. in relevant field with required first class academic qualifications, research publications and minimum 8 years professional design experience.
• Associate Professor - Geo-Informatics: Ph.D. in relevant discipline with First Class academic record and minimum 8 years teaching/research/industry experience with required publications.

Non-Teaching Posts Educational Qualification and Experience

• Campus Director: Ph.D. with First Class at Bachelor's or Master's level in Engineering & Technology, minimum 2 Ph.D. scholars guided, 10 research publications and 15 years teaching/research/industry experience including 5 years at Professor level.
• Training & Placement Officer: MBA/PGDM (2-year course) with UG degree in Engineering/Management/Sciences/Commerce and 12 years experience including 6 years in Training & Placement at Level 10 and above or equivalent.
• Medical Officer: Recognized MBBS qualification with compulsory rotating internship. Candidates awaiting internship completion may apply if they complete it before appointment.

NSUT Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

1. Assistant Professor: Written Test where applicable, followed by Screening cum Assessment, Teaching Aptitude Assessment and Interview.
2. Associate Professor: Screening cum Assessment followed by Teaching Aptitude Assessment and Interview.
3. Group 'A' Non-Teaching Officers: Shortlisting based on qualification and experience, document verification and personal interview.
