Job Role and Responsibilities
The selected Junior Level Consultant will handle Tribal Development Projects and perform field-based monitoring and reporting work. The major duties include:
- Monitoring projects at ground level and visiting each Wadi.
- Collecting data on different project components.
- Reporting data in the format devised by the Regional Office.
- Uploading project data in the Saral survey app and digitizing the project regularly.
- Conducting project rating exercises and assisting in preparation of project-wise monitoring reports.
- Performing any other work assigned by the Regional Office as per necessity.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The candidate must be a graduate from any recognized university.
Experience
The candidate should have 1 to 2 years of experience in any of the following areas:
- Natural Resource Management
- Financing
- Value Chain Management
- Agri-Marketing based projects or studies
Other Requirements
- Should possess knowledge of MS Office.
- Should be able to handle the mobile app designed for data collection.
- Should be physically fit for travelling in rugged sites.
- Must be proficient in the state language.
- Additional score will be given for good knowledge of different dialects of the state.
- Candidates from Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology, Veterinary and Animal Science background may be preferred based on the OCR text context.

Salary

The remuneration is consolidated and inclusive of all statutory deductions under Section 194 of the Income Tax Act. An annual revision of 5% may be considered after one year of satisfactory service.
Other Facilities
- Lodging on actual basis subject to prescribed ceilings.
- Travel entitlement by 3AC or bus, or hired taxi as approved.
- Special permission for flight travel may be granted in specific cases.
- Halting allowance of Rs. 800 per diem for normal stay, Rs. 600 for hotel stay, and Rs. 200 for residential programmes.
- Petrol allowance of Rs. 4,000 per month.
- Comprehensive medical insurance premium of Rs. 8,000 per year as per NABCONS policy.
- Mobile expense reimbursement of Rs. 500 per month.
- Permissible absence of 2 casual leave days per month.
- Lunch allowance of Rs. 1,500 per month.
- Identity card will be provided by NABCONS.
Contract Period
The appointment will be on contract basis initially for 11 months. The contract may be extended based on annual review of satisfactory performance and project requirement, or it may remain co-terminus with the project period.
Probation and Termination
- The initial 3 months will be treated as probation period.
- During probation, NABCONS can terminate the services without notice or assigning any reason.
- After probation, the contract can be terminated by giving 3 months’ notice on either side.
Selection Process
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Candidates may also be assessed for their proficiency in MS Office and data management.
