After successful completion of five years of satisfactory service, candidates may be considered for appointment in the regular pay scale applicable to the Driver cadre as per GSRTC rules.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 (Higher Secondary / 10+2) from a recognized board.
- Candidates must possess basic computer knowledge as prescribed by the Government of Gujarat.
- Equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government will be considered as per notification provisions.
Driving License & Experience Requirements
- Must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- Must possess a valid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Badge at the time of online application.
- Heavy Driving License should be at least 4 years old.
- Must have minimum 4 years of experience driving heavy vehicles after obtaining the required transport endorsement.
- Experience certificate issued by Transport Company / Travel Agency / Organization is mandatory.
