Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a Scientific Society under MeitY, Government of India, has released the official JIT (Just-In-Time) June 2026 Recruitment notification for various contractual positions across 11 pan-India centres. The recruitment covers Project Associate, Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager and support roles in domains like AI/ML, Cyber Security, VLSI, HPC, Embedded Systems, Full Stack Development, Quantum Computing and more.

Nationality

• Citizen of India (standard Government of India norms apply)

Educational Qualification

• BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree (min 60% or equivalent CGPA for most posts; 50% for Project Associate at some centres) OR PG in Science/Computer Application/relevant domain with requisite percentage OR ME/M.Tech OR Ph.D. in relevant discipline – from AICTE/UGC-approved institution or recognized university.
• For support/admin posts: Graduation with 50% + relevant experience.
• Candidates from universities using CGPA/DGPA/OGPA or letter grade systems must submit percentage conversion proof issued by the university along with the degree certificate.
• Final semester candidates may apply; if selected, joining is permitted only after passing the final exam with the required minimum marks.

Experience

• Post-qualification work experience as specified against each post.
• Academic/teaching/research/internship/project placements as part of curriculum are NOT counted as experience unless specifically mentioned.
• Experience must be supported by certificates from employer clearly showing period, salary, and post held.
• C-DAC internal candidates must have completed at least 2 years of service in C-DAC as on the date of notification to be eligible.

Nature of Engagement

• Purely contractual – no right to permanent/regular appointment.
• Contract is initially up to 3 years or project completion, whichever is earlier.
• Selected candidates may be deputed/transferred to any project location across India.

C-DAC JIT Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

1. Stage 1 – Initial Screening: All applications are screened based on academic records, qualifications, experience, and other parameters. Only candidates meeting minimum eligibility criteria are screened in for further selection.
2. Stage 2 – Written Test (if applicable): Depending on the number of screened-in applicants and centre requirements, a written/skill test may be conducted. This is at the discretion of the respective C-DAC centre. Candidates will be informed through email only.
3. Stage 3 – Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview by the respective C-DAC centre. The interview call letter will be sent via email only. No TA/DA is paid for attending the written test or interview.

2. Select the relevant centre from the list of 11 centres (Bengaluru, Chennai, Noida, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mohali, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati/CINE).
3. Click 'Apply' against the desired position.
4. Log in with mobile number and enter OTP.
5. Fill and submit the online application form carefully.
6. Upload passport-size photograph in .jpg format (max 400 KB) and Resume/CV in PDF format (max 500 KB).
7. Note the unique application number generated after submission for future reference.
8. Submit separate applications for each post if applying for multiple positions.

• Disability certificate in prescribed format issued by the District Medical Board (for PwBD candidates)
• SSLC/SSC/ISC mark sheet or other valid document as proof of date of birth
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer (if not forwarded through proper channel)

Important Instructions

• These are CONTRACTUAL positions - no right to regular or permanent employment in C-DAC is created by engagement under this recruitment.
• Candidates may be deputed or transferred from one project to another at any C-DAC project location across India based on organizational requirement.
• The contract is initially for up to 3 years (1 year for Kolkata centre) or project completion, whichever is earlier. Extension is possible based on performance and project requirement.
