Candidates must possess the following essential qualifications:
- Passed Intermediate / Class 12 examination with Biology Group from the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent 10+2 examination recognised by the Government.
- Possess a 2-Year Livestock Extension Diploma from a Veterinary University or Veterinary College established by law.
- Knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script is required.
Preferential Qualifications

Only candidates who appeared in UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and were issued a valid PET-2025 score are eligible to apply for the Main Examination recruitment process.
- Shortlisting for the Main Examination will be based on the normalised PET-2025 score.
