Who Can Apply for UPSSSC Junior Engineer Agriculture Recruitment 2026?

Applicants must satisfy the educational qualification, PET-2025 requirement, age limit and other eligibility conditions prescribed by the Commission.

UPSSSC Junior Engineer Agriculture Qualification 2026

For direct recruitment to the Junior Engineer post, a candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Must have passed the High School Examination of the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or an examination recognised by the Government as equivalent.
  • Must possess a three-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh.
  • An equivalent qualification recognised by the Government and approved by AICTE may also be considered as provided in the applicable rules and notification.

  • Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years; or

UPSSSC JE Agriculture PET 2025 Shortlisting Criteria

Candidates for the Main Written Examination will be shortlisted on the basis of their normalized PET-2025 score.

For the advertised vacancies, the Commission will normally shortlist candidates up to 15 times the number of category-wise vacancies. Candidates having the same normalized score as the last shortlisted candidate, calculated up to two decimal places, will also be included.

Candidates having zero, less than zero or negative actual/normalized PET-2025 scores will not be shortlisted for the Main Examination.

UPSSSC Junior Engineer Application Correction 2026

After final submission, candidates can make corrections only within the correction period prescribed by the Commission. The last date for correction is 14 October 2026.

Candidates will have to login to the Applicant Dashboard and use the Modify Application option. OTP verification will be required before permitted details can be modified.

Candidates should carefully check the corrected application before final submission because no correction will be allowed after the prescribed correction deadline.

UPSSSC Junior Engineer Agriculture Reservation 2026

Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and eligible horizontal reservation categories will be provided according to the applicable Uttar Pradesh Government rules and orders.
