UPSC Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Anatomy)
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super-speciality such as M.S. (Anatomy), M.D. (Anatomy), DNB (Anatomy) or equivalent qualifications mentioned in the notification.
Experience: Minimum three years teaching experience as Senior Resident, Tutor, Demonstrator, Registrar, Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned speciality after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.
Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (General Medicine)
Candidates should possess MBBS qualification and Post Graduate Degree in the concerned speciality such as MD (Medicine), MD (General Medicine) or DNB qualification.
Three years teaching experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree is required.
Assistant Editor
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or Mass Communication from a recognised University/Institute.
- OR Bachelor's Degree with Economics, Statistics or English as a subject along with Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communication of at least one year.
- Three years experience in editing and publishing works in book publishing field, newspaper, news agency, publicity organisation or Government organisation.

Assistant Public Prosecutor
- Degree in Law from a recognised University/Institute.
- Three years experience at the Bar.
The Assistant Public Prosecutor post requires a Law Degree and three years experience at the Bar.
Public Law Officer/District Litigation Officer/Law Officer
- Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognised university.
- Two years actual practice at Bar certified by the concerned authority.
The post is exclusively for eligible domiciles of UT Ladakh as mentioned in the notification.
