SAIL RSP IGH Trainee Recruitment 2026: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has released Ref. No. HR-T&M/2498 dated 31 August 2026 for selection of trainees for one-year training programmes at Ispat General Hospital (IGH), Rourkela on stipend basis. A total of 112 training seats are available for Medical Attendant Training, Hospital Administration Training and OT / Anesthesia Assistant Training.

The training programme is intended for employability and skill enhancement of eligible underprivileged candidates who are residents of Sundargarh District and other districts of Odisha. Preference will be given to candidates belonging to the direct impact zones of Rourkela Steel Plant. Online applications can be submitted from 05 September 2026 to 20 September 2026.

Hospital Administration Training Qualification

Candidates must have passed any one of the following qualifications from a recognised institute:

  • MBA in Hospital Management / Hospital Administration / HR / Marketing / Finance - minimum 2-year duration;
  • BBA in the relevant field - minimum 3-year duration; or
  • PG Diploma in Hospital Management / Hospital Administration / HR / Marketing / Finance - minimum 2-year duration.

Preference will be given to candidates possessing MBA / BBA / PG Diploma in Hospital Management or Hospital Administration.

Candidates must satisfy the following basic eligibility conditions:

  • The candidate should belong to the eligible underprivileged category covered by the training programme.
  • The candidate should be a resident of Sundargarh District or another district of Odisha State.
  • The candidate should possess the prescribed educational qualification for the selected training programme.
  • The candidate should satisfy the prescribed age limit.
  • Selection is subject to medical fitness according to SAIL / RSP rules.
