RailTel Apprentice Training Locations
The apprenticeship training will be conducted across different RailTel regions, including:
- Corporate Office – New Delhi / Gurgaon
- Northern Region – Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Rohtak, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi and other locations
- Eastern Region – Kolkata, Patna, Dhanbad, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati and other locations
- Southern Region – Secunderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Ernakulam, Vijayawada
- Western Region – Nagpur, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice: Full-time regular four-year Engineering Degree in relevant branches with minimum 60% marks from AICTE approved institutions.
- Diploma Apprentice: Full-time regular three-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant branches with minimum 60% marks from AICTE approved institutions.
- Candidates who have passed Sections A and B examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) in relevant branches are also eligible.
- Candidates who completed qualification through distance learning or part-time mode are not eligible.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 27 Years
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be applicable as per Government rules.
Experience Criteria
- Candidates should not have undergone apprenticeship training earlier.
- Candidates having one year or more work experience after acquiring the required qualification are not eligible.
- Candidates who completed three years after graduation/diploma will not be considered for apprenticeship.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates for RailTel Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be based on:
- Merit List prepared on the basis of qualification marks.
- Shortlisting based on required qualification and/or interview, if required.
- Medical fitness as per RailTel standards.
