OPSC AEE Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
For Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil), candidates must possess a Degree in Engineering in Civil from a University or Institution recognized by the Government of India or an Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers of India in Civil.
For Assistant Executive Engineer (Mechanical), candidates must possess a Degree in Engineering in Mechanical from a recognized University or Institution or an Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers of India in Mechanical.

The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above 42 years as on 01 January 2026.

Age Relaxation

The selection will be based on a valid GATE Score and Interview. The GATE score carries 90% weightage, while the Interview carries 10% weightage.
OPSC AEE Merit List 2026
The final merit list will be prepared using the aggregate score obtained from the GATE score and Interview according to the prescribed weightage.
If two or more candidates obtain equal aggregate marks, the candidate securing higher marks in the Interview will be placed higher in the merit list. If the Interview marks are also equal, the older candidate will be placed higher in the merit list.
