Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Home Department, Government of NCT of Delhi has released an Internship Notice for freshly qualified M.Sc. candidates. A total of 75 internship seats are available in Chemistry, Biology, Ballistics, Cyber Forensic and Physics (A/V) divisions.

The internship will be offered for a period of one year on a stipend basis. Selected interns will receive a fixed stipend of Rs. 30,000 per month. Eligible candidates must submit their applications physically or through Registered/Speed Post by 23 October 2026 up to 5:00 PM.

FSL Delhi Internship Vacancy 2026

The notice specifies a total of 75 tentative internship seats. The number of seats may be revised according to the directions of the Principal Director/HOD, FSL.

FSL Delhi Internship Recruitment 2026 Eligibility

The internship is open to freshly qualified candidates who possess the required M.Sc. qualification in the respective discipline. The educational requirements differ according to the division.

FSL Chemistry Internship Qualification

Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Biochemistry or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects or papers during all three years of the Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University/College in Delhi.

FSL Biology Internship Qualification

Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Human Biology, Life Science, Genetics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany as one of the subjects or papers during all three years of the Bachelor of Science level from a recognized university in Delhi.

Alternatively, candidates with B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology from a recognized university in Delhi are eligible.

FSL Ballistics Internship Qualification

Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subjects or papers during all three years of the Bachelor of Science level from a recognized university in Delhi.

FSL Cyber Forensic Internship Qualification

Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology or Physics with specialization in Electronics/Cyber Security from a recognized university in Delhi.

Alternatively, candidates with B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering or related specified disciplines from a recognized university in Delhi can apply.

FSL Physics (A/V) Internship Qualification

Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Computer Science, Electronics or Forensic Science with Physics as one of the subjects or papers during all three years of the Bachelor of Science level from a recognized university in Delhi.

Alternatively, candidates with B.E./B.Tech in the specified engineering disciplines including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology and related disciplines can apply.

The division-wise qualification requirements are specified in the table on pages 1 and 2 of the internship notice.

FSL Delhi Internship Age Limit 2026

The applicant should be at least 21 years old and not more than 27 years old as on the last date of submission of the application.

Age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories will be applicable according to the prevailing Government rules.

FSL Delhi Internship Stipend 2026

Selected interns will receive a fixed stipend of Rs. 30,000 per month.

The internship is offered on a stipend basis for a period of one year. No other stipend amount is specified in the notice.

FSL Delhi Internship Selection Process 2026

The selection process will be conducted through an Interview.

The notice states that the list of shortlisted candidates for the interview will be displayed on the Notice Board and official website of the Forensic Science Laboratory, GNCT of Delhi. Candidates appearing for the interview must bear their own travelling and accommodation expenses, as no TA/DA will be paid.

Candidates must apply using the prescribed application form attached to the internship notice.

Candidates called for interview must bring their original documents along with self-attested photocopies. They must also bring an identity proof such as Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook with photograph attested by a Nationalized Bank, Passport or another acceptable proof of identity.

FSL Delhi Internship Important Conditions

• Only fresh candidates possessing the prescribed qualifications are eligible.
• Candidates who have already worked as paid interns at FSL, Delhi are not eligible.
• Separate applications must be submitted for separate divisions.
• Only physically received applications will be considered.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected.
• The internship is for a period of one year.
• Selected candidates must be ready to join after selection.
• The intern may be posted in various FSL divisions or Mobile Forensic Vans.
• Interns may be required to work 24 x 7 in a shift system.
• The number of seats is tentative and may be revised.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

FSL Delhi Internship Leave Rules

Interns may be allowed 8 Casual Leaves and 2 Restricted Holidays in a calendar year, or proportionately according to the internship tenure. No earned leave, medical leave or any other kind of leave will be permitted.

FSL Delhi Internship Termination Conditions

The Principal Director (FSL)/Head of Department reserves the right to terminate the internship at any time without notice under specified circumstances, including:

• Unauthorized absence for five continuous working days.
• Obtaining the internship by misrepresentation or suppression of facts.
• Involvement in indiscipline, misconduct or unlawful activities.
• Failure to provide one month's prior notice before leaving the internship.

In case of leaving without the required one-month notice, the candidate will be liable to refund one month's stipend paid to them.

FSL Delhi Internship Agreement

Selected candidates must execute an engagement agreement on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100 before their appointment. They must also submit an undertaking stating that they will not make any claim or file any court case for regularization of service in any Court of Law.
