A total of 58 vacancies are available for Surgeon, Orthopedic Surgeon, Anesthetist, Radiologist, Medical Officer, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Technical Staff and other posts.
The selection will be conducted through Walk-in-Interview at the Chamber of the Director, Directorate of Health Services, Campal, Panaji-Goa. The interviews will be conducted from 19 October 2026 to 29 October 2026, with different reporting dates and times for different posts.

DHS Goa Recruitment Qualification 2026
Surgeon, Orthopedic Surgeon, Anesthetist, Radiologist, Physician and Psychiatrist
Candidates must possess a recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule, other than licentiate qualifications, to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Candidates holding qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule must fulfill the applicable conditions under the Act.
Echo Cardiologist
The essential qualification includes a postgraduate degree in General Medicine or Respiratory Medicine with fellowship in ECHO Cardiology, or a postgraduate degree in General Medicine or Respiratory Medicine with a certificate in ECHO Cardiology and one year of experience.
The age limit for this post is 60 years.
Intensivist / Consultant (ICU)
The notification prescribes medical qualifications along with one of the specified critical care pathways, including MD Anaesthesia/equivalent, MD General Medicine/equivalent with one year of intensive-care experience, MD Respiratory Medicine with one year of intensive-care experience, or MBBS with a two-year certificate course in Critical Medicine/Intensive Care and one year of work experience.
The age limit for this post is 60 years.
Medical Officer
Candidates must possess the prescribed recognized medical qualification or a degree from Goa Medical School and must have completed compulsory rotating internship.
Occupational Therapist
Master in Occupational Therapy or Bachelor in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution is required. One year of experience working with children and interest in Pediatric Neuro-rehabilitation is desirable.
Speech Therapist
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from a recognized institution is required. Six months of experience in Speech Therapy is desirable.
Behavior Therapist
Graduate in any field from a recognized institution with specialized training in Behavior Therapy for Autism from a reputed institute is required. One year of experience in Behavior Therapy is desirable.
Technical Staff (Engineer)
B.E. in Mechanical or B.E. in Biomedical Engineering with one year of experience is required.

The general age limit specified in the notification is not exceeding 45 years, relaxable as per Government instructions/orders.
The notification separately specifies an age limit of 60 years for the Echo Cardiologist and Intensivist / Consultant posts.
