A total of 30 Apprentice Trainee positions are available, including 19 Graduate Apprentice positions and 11 Technician Apprentice positions. The apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.

NIT Calicut Apprentice Stipend 2026

The stipend consists of a Government Share and an Institute Share. The Government Share, equivalent to 50% of the applicable minimum stipend prescribed under the Apprenticeship Rules, is paid directly to the apprentice through DBT, while NIT Calicut pays the balance amount required to make up the prescribed total stipend.
