A total of 1,000 Constable (Driver) posts are available. The recruitment includes 200 Constable (Driver) posts in Special Armed Force and 800 Constable (Driver) posts in District Police Force. The recruitment is for male candidates only.

The applicable age relaxation is subject to the conditions specified in the recruitment rules and certain benefits are available only to Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates.
MP Police Constable Driver Salary 2026
The pay scale for Constable (Driver) is Rs. 19,500 - 62,000.
As per the applicable government rules, the minimum of the pay scale is payable as stipend at 70% in the first year, 80% in the second year and 90% in the third year. Other government-approved allowances and benefits are also applicable as per rules.

The written examination contains 100 objective multiple-choice questions and is of 2 hours duration. Each correct answer carries 1 mark. No marks are deducted for unanswered or incorrect answers.
MP Police Constable Driver Physical Test 2026
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the first-stage written examination will be called for the physical proficiency test. Up to seven times the number of advertised vertical-category vacancies will be shortlisted based on the cut-off percentile.
For the Constable (Driver) cadre, candidates must obtain at least 30% of the total marks in the physical proficiency test, including the specified minimum requirement in the 800-metre run. The trade test is qualifying in nature.

The MP Police Constable Driver written examination is scheduled to start from 04 January 2027. The examination may be conducted in two shifts.
