NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Vacancy 2026
NPCIL has announced a total of 51 Intern positions across its Headquarters and various Units. The location-wise distribution given in the notification is as follows:

The notification also states that the number may change depending on the extension or completion of training of existing interns. In such circumstances, selection may be kept on hold, cancelled, or an offer may be issued after completion of the previous batch's training, subject to the maximum vacancies at the particular site.
NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Stipend 2026
Selected CA/CMA Interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000/-.
An additional Rs. 5,000/- per month will be provided if accommodation is not available at the concerned NPCIL Unit or Headquarters.
Suitable accommodation may otherwise be provided at Units on payment of the normal licence fee.
NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Training Period
The training period is 12 months. The period may be extended by a further period not exceeding 12 months on a case-to-case basis, subject to Institute requirements and the performance of the student.
The completion certificate will be issued only after completion of the training period.
NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Eligibility 2026
NPCIL is providing practical training to candidates who have passed the Inter examination of CA or CMA for training in the Finance & Accounts field at various NPCIL Units and Headquarters.

NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Selection Process 2026
The selection process consists of shortlisting followed by a Personal Interview.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:5 based on the aggregate marks obtained in the Inter CA/Inter CMA examination.
The final selection of trainees will be through Personal Interview. Candidates can attend the interview through Virtual Mode.
NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Screening Process
Applications received by the last date will be screened on the basis of aggregate marks. Candidates who apply without final marks will not be considered.
Only candidates who are screened in will be informed through their registered email ID regarding the further selection process. Shortlisted candidates will have to present themselves at the respective Unit/Region for the Personal Interview through Virtual Mode.
NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Working Hours
The working hours for trainees will be 8 hours per day in the general shift, including a one-hour lunch break, for 5 days a week.
NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Leave
Trainees will be eligible for 1 day of paid leave per month, amounting to 12 days of paid leave during a one-year training period. In case of extension, leave will be available at the rate of one day per month on a pro-rata basis.
Absence beyond admissible leave may result in proportionate deduction from the stipend, and trainees will be required to complete the training duration for certification.
Other Facilities for NPCIL Interns
- Site transportation facility may be available free of cost, subject to availability.
- Free medical facilities are limited to OPD and First Aid.
- Suitable accommodation may be provided at Units on payment of normal licence fee.
- Rs. 5,000 per month will be provided in lieu of accommodation where accommodation is unavailable.
