KSRTC-SWIFT Limited has released a recruitment notification for Driver, Conductor and Driver-cum-Conductor posts. A total of 1,040 vacancies are available for temporary, daily-wage engagement under Notification No. KS-GL01/17/2026-GL-K-SWIFT.

KSRTC-SWIFT has notified a total of 1,040 vacancies, comprising 385 Driver, 345 Conductor and 310 Driver-cum-Conductor posts.

KSRTC SWIFT Driver Recruitment 2026 Qualification

Candidates applying for the Driver post should have passed 9th Class or equivalent from a recognized board/institution.

The candidate must possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence. The notification prescribes the required licence period and Heavy Goods and Heavy Passenger vehicle endorsements.

The Motor Vehicle licence should have been held for 7 years, including at least 3 years of Heavy Motor Vehicle licence. The notification provides an exception to this condition for eligible ex-servicemen who held an HMV licence during military service.

KSRTC SWIFT Conductor Recruitment 2026 Qualification

Candidates applying for the Conductor post should have passed 10th Class or equivalent.

A valid Conductor Licence under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 is required. Candidates who do not possess the Conductor Licence at the time of selection must obtain and submit a valid licence within the prescribed period after appointment.

KSRTC SWIFT Driver-cum-Conductor Qualification 2026

Candidates applying for the Driver-cum-Conductor post should have passed 10th Class or equivalent.

A valid Heavy Driving Licence is required. Selected candidates must also obtain the prescribed Conductor Licence within the specified period.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of driving experience in Heavy Passenger Vehicles having more than 30 seats. The experience must be supported by the prescribed documents/certificates.

KSRTC SWIFT Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The age limit is 21 to 55 years. The age is reckoned as on the last date of application.

KSRTC SWIFT Physical Standards 2026

The notification prescribes the above physical and vision standards for the applicable driving posts. Candidates must also submit the prescribed medical fitness certification at the time of appointment.

KSRTC SWIFT Salary 2026

Selected candidates will be paid Rs. 715 per 8-hour duty.

For work beyond the prescribed duty hours, the notification provides Rs. 130 per additional hour as overtime allowance. Other applicable benefits include kilometre allowance, night allowance, collection bata and incentives. EPF and ESI benefits are also applicable.

KSRTC SWIFT Recruitment 2026 Security Deposit

Selected candidates must submit an interest-free security deposit of Rs. 30,000 in the prescribed manner at the time of entering into the contract.

Candidates who successfully complete training are required to serve KSRTC-SWIFT for two years, with at least 240 duties in each year. If this service requirement is not fulfilled, the security deposit will not be refunded.
