MPESB Group 3 Recruitment 2026: Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal has released the detailed rulebook for Group-03 Sub Engineer, Draftsman, Laboratory Technician and Other Equivalent Posts Combined Recruitment Test 2026 (Second). A total of 1,700 vacancies have been announced under 132 post codes across 48 departments, authorities, boards, corporations and Government institutions in Madhya Pradesh.

MPESB Group 3 Age Relaxation 2026
Age relaxation is available according to Madhya Pradesh Government rules.
- SC, ST and OBC candidates who are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh receive the prescribed relaxation.
- Eligible women candidates receive relaxation up to the notified maximum age.
- Eligible Government / Corporation / Board / Autonomous Institution employees may receive the prescribed relaxation.
- Ex-Servicemen receive relaxation according to the rules mentioned in the rulebook.
- Special relaxation provisions are also available for certain other eligible categories.
The rulebook states that EWS status by itself does not provide relaxation in the maximum age limit.
Except for categories specifically covered by separate provisions such as eligible contractual employees, the maximum age after applicable relaxations generally cannot exceed 45 years.

Special Technical Paper Rules for Certain Post Codes
For Post Code 088, eligible candidates can appear in the Civil Engineering or Architecture technical paper according to their qualification. The result will be prepared using the applicable percentile-score procedure described in the rulebook.
For Post Codes 128 and 131, eligible candidates may appear in the Electrical or Mechanical Engineering technical paper according to their qualification. The applicable percentile scores will be used according to the rulebook.

MPESB Group 3 Result Normalisation 2026
If the examination is conducted in more than one shift, MPESB may prepare the result using its prescribed Normalised Equi-Percentile / percentile-based method.

MPESB Group 3 Aadhaar and Biometric Verification 2026
Aadhaar registration is mandatory for candidates.
Candidates are also required to keep Aadhaar / e-Aadhaar / Aadhaar number / Aadhaar VID information available as prescribed. Multi-level biometric verification may be conducted at the examination centre and during the recruitment process.

- The photograph should be a recent colour photograph.
- The photograph background should be white.
- Polaroid photographs will not be accepted.

- The candidate's name and date on which the photograph was taken should be clearly mentioned as prescribed.
