Who Can Apply for Manipur PSC Dental Surgeon Recruitment?
Candidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Manipur Public Service Commission.
Nationality
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Knowledge of Language
The candidate must be able to speak Manipuri (Meitei/Meitei Lon) or any of the tribal dialects of Manipur.
Permanent Resident Requirement
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Manipur. However, a candidate whose parent or ancestor in the direct lineage is a permanent resident of Manipur may also be eligible if proper documentary proof of enrolment in the relevant electoral roll and birth certificate is provided.
Manipur PSC Dental Surgeon Age Limit
The age is calculated as on 23 September 2026.

The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates. Candidates with benchmark disabilities belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be eligible for cumulative age relaxation under both categories.
For Government servants, the upper age limit may be relaxable based on the length of service rendered under the Government, as applicable under the prescribed rules.
There is no age relaxation for categories of candidates against vacancies for which there is no reservation.
Educational Qualification for MHS Grade-IV Dental Surgeon
Candidates applying for the Dental Surgeon post must fulfill both of the following requirements:
- Possess a recognized dental qualification included in the First or Third Schedule to the Indian Dental Council Act, 1948, as amended from time to time.
- Have registration with a State Dental Council.
The required qualification should be supported by the relevant educational certificates at the time of application.

Viva Voce and Physical Interview
The Viva Voce and Physical Interview carries 15 marks. Candidates will be assessed by a Board constituted by the Commission with subject expert(s).
