Indian Air Force Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
• The upper age limit at the time of enrolment should be 22 years.

Marital Status

• Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for enrolment.
• Selected candidates must provide an undertaking that they will not marry during the four-year engagement period.
• Candidates marrying during the engagement period will be dismissed from service.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination from a recognised Central, State, or Union Territory education board.

Indian Air Force Agniveervayu Non-Combatant Medical Standards

Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards of the Indian Air Force.

• Height: Minimum 152 cm
• Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cm
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF standards
• Hearing: Candidate should be able to hear forced whisper from 6 metres distance with each ear separately
• Dental: Minimum 14 dental points required
• General Health: Candidate must be physically and mentally fit for Air Force duties

Corneal surgery such as PRK/LASIK is not acceptable under the visual standards.

Selected candidates will perform duties assigned by the organisation under Hospitality and Housekeeping streams

Hospitality Stream

• Cooking and kitchen management
• Preparation and presentation of food items
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in kitchens
• Safe storage of food items
• Handling crockery, cutlery and refrigeration equipment
• Serving food and water

Housekeeping Stream

• Cleaning floors, roads, rooms, bathrooms and other areas
• Garden maintenance and grass cutting
• Washing utensils and clothes
• Handling office equipment
• Hair cutting, shaving, ironing clothes and shoe polishing
• Stitching and repairing leather and garment items
