The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced ICAI Branch In-Charge Recruitment 2026 for 129 Branch In-Charge posts across its five Regional Councils under the Branch Human Resource Scheme (BHRS) 2022. Online applications start on 3 July 2026 and the last date is 19 July 2026. Eligible candidates must be Graduates aged 27–40 years (as on 30.06.2026) with minimum post-qualification experience (3–5 years). Application fee: ₹250. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate from a recognized University (or Deemed University/Institution recognized by AICTE, UGC, or appropriate statutory authority)

Age Limit (As on 30.06.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 27 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years

Work Experience (Post-Qualification, Full-Time Only)

  • Only full-time post-qualification work experience counts (part-time/freelancing not considered)
  • Articleship, internship, or training forming part of qualification does not count
  • Experience requirement varies by Branch Category (see salary table below)

Skill Sets Required

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills (proficient spoken/written English)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant computer applications
  • Effective managerial, administrative, organizational abilities
  • Strong relationship management & conflict resolution skills

Salary / Compensation (Based on Branch Category)

Compensation includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, National Pension System (NPS), Leave Travel Concession, Gratuity, and other benefits.

Phase 2: Interview

  • CBT-qualified candidates called for Interview

  • Interview marks added to CBT marks for final merit list
  • Document verification (copies vs originals) before interview; discrepancies = not permitted
  • No TA/DA paid for attending interview
