Based on the indicative vacancies reported in Annexure-I, a total of 13,706 vacancies are currently available across the participating RRBs.

IBPS RRB Local Language Requirement 2026
Proficiency in the prescribed local language is an essential qualification for:
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose); and
- Officer Scale-I - Assistant Manager.
A candidate who has studied the prescribed language of the State in Class VIII or above from a Government-recognised Board / School, or possesses an appropriate certificate, will be treated as proficient in the local language.
If a selected candidate does not satisfy this local-language condition at the time of selection, the candidate will normally be allowed six months from the date of joining to acquire the required proficiency. The RRB Board may extend this period within the applicable rules, but not beyond the probation period.

Negative marking applies to all Preliminary, Main and Single Online Examinations.
- For every incorrect answer, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted.
- No penalty will be imposed for a question left unanswered.

Candidates must secure the minimum cut-off score prescribed by IBPS in the applicable tests.
Merely qualifying individual tests may not be sufficient. Candidates must also score sufficiently high in the total examination score to be shortlisted for the next stage, Interview or Provisional Allotment, as applicable.

IBPS RRB NOC Requirement 2026
Candidates working in Government / Quasi-Government offices, Public Sector Undertakings, Nationalised Banks or Financial Institutions must produce an original No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of Interview, wherever applicable.
IBPS RRB Provisional Allotment 2026
After completion of the Main / Single Examination and Interview where applicable, candidates will be considered for provisional allotment depending on:
- Actual vacancies reported by participating RRBs;
- Merit;
- Candidate's applicable RRB / State preferences;
- Reservation rules;
- Administrative requirements; and
- Other applicable Government guidelines.
For Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant, provisional allotment is restricted to RRBs in the State / UT selected by the candidate.
For Officer Scale-II and Scale-III, allotment will be based on merit-cum-preference among participating RRBs.
IBPS RRB Salary 2026
The CRP RRBs XV notification does not specify post-wise salary, basic pay or pay scale.
Pay, allowances and other service benefits after appointment will therefore be governed by the rules applicable to the Regional Rural Bank and the post to which the candidate is finally appointed.

- CRP RRBs XV covers Group A Officers and Group B Office Assistants.
- The reported Annexure-I vacancies currently total 13,706.
- Office Assistant has 8,183 reported vacancies.
- Officer Scale-I has 4,256 reported vacancies.
- Officer Scale-II streams together have 1,047 reported vacancies.
- Officer Scale-III has 220 reported vacancies.
- Vacancies are indicative and may change.
- Tripura Gramin Bank has marked vacancies as NR - Not Reported.
- Online registration starts on 01 September 2026.
- The last date to apply is 21 September 2026.
- Application fees must also be paid by 21 September 2026.
- An Edit Window will be available for two days after registration closes, with exact dates to be announced by IBPS.
- Age is calculated as on 01 September 2026.
- Required educational qualifications must have been declared by 21 September 2026.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required for Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I.
- Scale-II and Scale-III posts carry post-specific qualification and experience requirements.
- Local-language proficiency is essential for Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I.
- The fee is Rs. 850 for candidates not covered by the concessional category.
- Applicable SC/ST/PwBD and specified ESM/DESM candidates pay Rs. 175 according to the post.
- Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I have Preliminary and Main examinations.
- Scale-II and Scale-III have a Single Online Examination.
- Office Assistant does not have an Interview.
- Officer Scale-I, II and III have a Common Interview.
- The Officer Interview carries 100 marks.
- Online Examination and Interview weightage for Officers is 80:20.
- There is 0.25 negative marking for every wrong answer.
- No penalty applies to unanswered questions.
- A candidate can apply for Office Assistant and one Officer post.
- A candidate cannot apply for more than one post in the Officer cadre.
- Separate applications and fees are required for each applicable cadre.
- The selected State / UT for Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I provisional allotment is irrevocable.
- Candidates must upload a scanned photograph and capture a live photograph.
- Signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration are mandatory.
- The Class 10 / SSC / SSLC certificate must also be uploaded.
- Candidates are advised to possess a valid Aadhaar Card.
- Biometric and Aadhaar verification may be conducted during the recruitment process.
- Final appointment is subject to eligibility verification and medical fitness under the concerned RRB's rules.
- Provisional allotment is expected in February / March 2027.
