Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the Notification for Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees (PO/MT) - XVI in Participating Public Sector Banks for vacancies of 2027-28. The online examination (Preliminary and Main) will be conducted by IBPS for recruitment of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees in Participating Banks such as Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India and others.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/Citizenship
- A candidate must be a Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 01-01-1962, or a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with the intent of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit (As on 01.07.2026)
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Candidate must be born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2006 (both dates inclusive)

- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet/ Degree Certificate showing graduation on or before 21.07.2026.

Compensation / Pay Scale
Basic Pay: ₹48,480 - 2000/7 - 62,480 - 2340/2 - 67,160 - 2680/7 - 85,920, plus other allowances and perquisites as per rules of the Participating Bank.

There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the Objective Tests. No penalty is applicable for unattempted questions.
Personality Test & Interview
- Candidates who qualify the Main Examination will be called for a Personality Test (self-report, non-qualifying but mandatory).
- Interview is conducted by Participating Banks, coordinated by the Nodal Bank, for total marks of 100.
- Minimum qualifying marks in interview: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates).
- Weightage: Online Main Exam and Interview will be considered in the ratio of 80:20.

- Click on "CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-PROBATIONARY OFFICERS/ MANAGEMENT TRAINEES (CRP-PO/MT-XVI)".
- Click on "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" and fill in basic details to generate Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, hand-written declaration and other requisite documents as per specifications.
- Fill in the online application form carefully and use "SAVE AND NEXT" to verify details before final submission.
- Pay the applicable Application Fee/ Intimation Charges through online mode.
- Take a printout of the system generated application form and e-receipt for future reference.
Important Instructions
- Not more than one application should be submitted by any candidate.
- Any request for change of examination centre, date or venue will not be entertained.
- Candidates must retain the call letter and photo ID proof for all stages of the process.
- Ration Card and Learner's Driving License will not be accepted as valid ID proof.
