Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has released the notification for Engagement of Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Engineering) for the Year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeship opportunity is available for eligible engineering graduates across India in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation branches. The online application process starts on 15 July 2026 and the last date to apply on the HPCL portal is 31 July 2026 .
Only candidates registered and approved on the NATS 2.0 portal and by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) will be considered for selection. Candidates must also complete the HPCL online application process within the prescribed dates .

Eligibility Criteria
- Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must be registered and approved on the NATS 2.0 portal and by BOAT.
- Engineering graduates in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation streams are eligible.
- The degree must have been completed on or after 01 September 2023.
- UR and OBC-NC candidates must have at least 60% aggregate marks.
- SC, ST, and PwBD candidates must have at least 50% aggregate marks.
- The qualification must be recognized by the Board of Technical Education, UGC, AICTE, or an equivalent authority.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
- Age will be counted as on 31 July 2026.
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC-NC: 3 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years
Stipend Details
Selected Graduate Apprentice Trainees will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000, out of which Rs. 20,500 will be paid by HPCL and Rs. 4,500 will be directly paid by the Government of India under the DBT scheme .
Selection Process
- Applications will be screened based on merit percentage and eligibility criteria.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification in a ratio of 1:5 against the available training slots.
- Final merit will be prepared based on verified candidates.
- Medical certificate and police verification will be required at the time of engagement.

- Read the declaration and click on final submit.
- Save the application number for future reference.
Important Instructions
- Only one application is allowed. Multiple applications will be rejected.
- Incomplete or incorrect applications will not be considered.
- Applicants must keep their email ID and mobile number active for at least one year.
- No hard copy of the application needs to be sent to HPCL.
- HPCL does not guarantee permanent employment after apprenticeship completion.
