A total of 14 Group C, Non-Ministerial, Industrial vacancies have been announced for Technician (Skilled) and Technician (Semi-Skilled) posts at DGQA establishments located in Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Jabalpur and Chandigarh.

Written Examination Details

DGQA Technician Trade Test
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the Trade Test based on written-examination merit and reservation category.
- The Trade Test will carry 100 marks.
- The minimum qualifying mark in the Trade Test is 40 marks.
- The final merit list will be prepared trade-wise and establishment-wise after completion of the written examination and Trade Test.
DGQA Technician Tie-Breaking Rule
If two or more candidates obtain equal marks, the tie will be resolved in the following order:
- Older candidate will be placed higher based on date of birth.
- Candidate securing higher marks in Numerical Aptitude will be placed higher.
- If the tie continues, marks in Reasoning will be considered.
- If the tie still continues, marks in General Awareness will be considered.
DGQA Technician Examination Date and Venue
The exact written-examination date, time and venue will be communicated through the admit card.
The organisation will send the admit card using the self-addressed stamped envelope submitted with the application. Candidates must ensure that the address written on the envelope is complete and correct.

- Type the application in English on A4-size paper.

DGQA Technician Medical Fitness
- Candidates must be in good mental and physical health.
- They must be free from any physical condition that could interfere with efficient performance of duties.
- Provisionally selected candidates must undergo a medical examination at a prescribed Government hospital.
- Candidates found medically unfit will not be offered appointment.
- Candidates diagnosed with night blindness or colour blindness will be declared medically unfit for the advertised posts.
- The decision of the designated Medical Board or Medical Officer will be final.
DGQA Technician Travel and Accommodation
- No TA or DA will be paid for attending the written examination or Trade Test.
- Candidates must arrange their own lodging and boarding.
- The written examination is expected to be completed in one day.
- The Trade Test may be conducted after publication of the written-test shortlist.
DGQA Technician Important Instructions
- Each candidate should submit only one application for one specific post.
- No request for changing the post will be accepted after submission.
- Applications received after the closing date, including those delayed by post, will be rejected.
- Incomplete, unsigned, undated or improperly filled applications will be rejected.
- Applications not submitted in the prescribed A4-size format may be rejected.
- Overwriting and corrections in the application should be avoided.
