C-DAC Guwahati Recruitment 2026 - Walk-in for 27 Project Manager & Project Engineer Posts

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Centre in North East (CINE), Guwahati has released a notification for the recruitment of technical experts for various project positions. The recruitment is for projects of national importance in areas including e-Governance, microservices-based applications, Health Informatics, Human Resource and Financial Management systems.

A total of 27 positions are available across Project Manager and Project Engineer-level roles in Software System Architecture, Full Stack Development, Android Development and Network Security. The appointments will be made on a purely contractual basis.

Eligible candidates can attend the walk-in interview from 25 September 2026 to 9 October 2026, from Monday to Friday. Candidates must register at the venue between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM to be allowed to attend the interview, which is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Educational Qualification

For the Project Manager and the Full Stack Developer and Android Developer positions, candidates should have one of the following qualifications as specified for the respective post:

• B.E./B.Tech. in CSE/ECE/EEE or relevant domain with 60% or equivalent CGPA.
• M.E./M.Tech./Post Graduate degree in CSE/EEE/ECE or relevant domain with 60% or equivalent CGPA.
• Ph.D. (all but thesis) in relevant discipline.

For the Project Engineer - Network Security position, the essential qualification is B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electronics or relevant discipline with 60% or equivalent CGPA.

A Post Graduate Degree in Science, Computer Applications or relevant domain with 60% or equivalent CGPA, or an M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline with 60% or equivalent CGPA, is also specified as an eligible qualification for the Network Security position.

Project Manager - Software System Architect

There are 2 indicative positions for Project Manager with specialization in Software System Architecture. Candidates require a minimum of 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

The required experience includes system architecture, enterprise application architecture, solution design and implementation of large-scale IT systems. Experience with secure and scalable systems, enterprise application integration, API/microservices architecture, databases, cloud or hybrid infrastructure, cybersecurity, disaster recovery and interoperability is required. Experience in large-scale Government, R&D, e-Governance, enterprise or mission-critical IT projects is desirable.

The required skill set includes Java, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL and Spring Framework, along with full-stack web application development, distributed or centralized application deployment, performance tuning, scalability, DevOps processes and related technologies.

Senior Project Engineer - Full Stack Developer

Project Engineer - Network Security

Salary

The monthly consolidated remuneration varies according to the position and required experience. The salary ranges from ₹40,000 to ₹1,50,000 per month.

C-DAC states that the pay bracket provided for each position represents the starting pay for the minimum experience prescribed for that post. Candidates with higher experience, commensurate with the applicable experience bracket, may be offered additional increments as per C-DAC policy.

Nature and Duration of Engagement

All advertised positions are purely contractual and are offered on consolidated emoluments initially for up to one year or completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

The contract may be extended depending on the candidate's performance, project requirements and project duration. Selected candidates may also be assigned to another project based on organizational requirements.

C-DAC projects are located at various places across India, and selected candidates may be deputed or transferred from one project to another according to organizational requirements.

Walk-in Interview Schedule

Candidates who reach the venue and register between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM will be allowed to attend the interview.

Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview must carry the duly filled application form and resume along with copies of their degree and experience certificates.

The notification also instructs candidates to carry attested copies of relevant documents such as proof of age, qualification, experience and caste, wherever applicable.

Selection Process

The selection process begins with screening based on the eligibility criteria and the parameters declared in the application form submitted at the walk-in interview.
