Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries Science from a Fisheries College under an agricultural university recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi.

Salary
The Fisheries Extension Officer post carries Pay Level-7.
Application Fee

Selection Process
BTSC will prepare the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in the written competitive examination and eligible work experience.

The written competitive examination will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT). The marks obtained in the examination will be adjusted according to the prescribed 0.75 multiplier for preparing the examination score.
For relevant contractual work experience, a maximum of 25 marks can be awarded according to the provisions of the notification. The qualifying minimum marks in the competitive examination are 30%.
Work Experience
Eligible contractual work experience may be considered for awarding up to 25 marks. The work experience must meet the conditions specified in the recruitment notification and must be supported by the prescribed work experience certificate.
