Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess a 3-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with the prescribed pass-class requirement.
Experience and Service Requirements
The post is intended for eligible ex-servicemen from the Indian Air Force. Candidates applying for the post must meet the following requirements:

BEL Sr. Asst. Engineer Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in the ₹30,000/- to ₹1,20,000/- pay scale.
In addition to Basic Pay, the remuneration package includes applicable benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, perquisites at the rate of 35% of annual basic pay, reimbursement of medical expenses, Group Insurance, PF, Gratuity and PRP as per BEL rules.
Tenure and Place of Posting
The engagement will be for a maximum period of 15 years or until the candidate reaches 60 years of age, whichever is earlier. The tenure will be renewable every five years based on individual performance and project requirements.
The posting will be at PAN-India Project Site locations according to the requirements of the company. Candidates should therefore be prepared to work at project sites anywhere in India.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of a Written Test followed by an Interview. Only candidates who qualify in the Written Test will be called for the Interview.
Candidates called for the Interview will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:7 according to the vacancy in the respective category.
Medical Fitness
Candidates should have sound health, and no relaxation in health standards will be allowed. The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to being declared medically fit in the Pre-Employment Medical Examination conducted according to the prescribed medical fitness standards.

- SSLC marks card as proof of age.
- Diploma Engineering or equivalent examination certificates and marks cards for all semesters/years.

- No Objection Certificate (NOC), wherever applicable.

Important Instructions for Serving Armed Forces Candidates
Candidates who are currently serving in the Armed Forces and have not yet been discharged must provide documentary proof relating to their medical category, character and probable date of discharge. The prescribed date of discharge should not be more than three months after the last date of the advertisement.
