Experience Calculation Conditions

• Post-qualification experience will be calculated as on 01 August 2026.
• Experience of less than six months in an organisation will normally not be considered, except when it forms part of the candidate’s current employment.
• Experience in a clerical cadre will not be considered for determining eligibility.
• Candidates must upload documents clearly establishing their designation, service duration, responsibilities and salary.

Nationality and Citizenship

A candidate must be one of the following:

• A citizen of India.
• A subject of Nepal.
• A subject of Bhutan.
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
• A person of Indian origin who migrated from one of the countries specified in the notification with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates who require a Government of India eligibility certificate may participate in the recruitment process, but the offer of appointment will be issued only after the required certificate is produced.

• Reservation is available for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and eligible Persons with Benchmark Disabilities according to Government of India rules.
• OBC candidates belonging to the creamy layer are not eligible for OBC reservation or age relaxation.
• EWS candidates must produce a valid Income and Asset Certificate in the prescribed format.
• Category certificates must be issued by the competent authority in the format prescribed by the Government of India.
• The category entered in the online application cannot be changed after registration.
• There is no reservation for Ex-Servicemen in the Officers’ Cadre.

Online Test Important Points

• Reasoning, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude are qualifying in nature.
• Marks obtained in the three qualifying sections will not be considered for the final result.
• The Bank will decide the minimum qualifying marks for each section.

Negative Marking

For each incorrect answer, 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. No penalty will be imposed for an unanswered question.

Personal Interview Qualifying Marks

The Bank may change the minimum qualifying criteria at its discretion. Candidates who fail to qualify in the Personal Interview will not be considered for final selection.

Tie-Breaking Rule

If more than one candidate secures the same cut-off marks, candidates will be ranked according to age in descending order, with the older candidate placed higher.
