Candidates can apply for engagement in one State/UT only. The Bank may allot the apprenticeship vacancy in any district of the selected State/UT according to its administrative requirements.
UCO Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Graduate Degree from a recognized University or an institution approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies. The candidate must have completed graduation and possess the required marksheets and provisional or final degree certificate issued on or after 01 April 2022.
Age Limit
The candidate's age should be between 20 and 28 years as on 01 October 2026. The maximum age limit is applicable to UR and EWS candidates.

Local Language Requirement
Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding at least one local language of the State/UT for which they apply. A local language test will be conducted during document verification. Candidates who have studied the specified local language in Class 10 or Class 12 and produce the relevant marksheet or certificate will not have to appear for the language test.
UCO Bank Apprentice Salary 2026
Selected apprentices will receive a total monthly stipend of Rs. 16,650 during the apprenticeship period. UCO Bank will pay Rs. 10,500 per month into the apprentice's account, while the Government share of Rs. 6,150 will be credited through DBT, subject to applicable Government guidelines.
The apprenticeship training will continue for one year from the date of the contract. Apprentices are not eligible for other allowances or employee benefits.

The UCO Bank Apprentice selection process consists of an online objective test, state-wise and category-wise merit preparation, local language verification, document verification and medical fitness.

The total duration of the online examination is 60 minutes. The test will be conducted in English and Hindi.

The merit list will be prepared State-wise and category-wise based on the marks obtained in the online test. Candidates will be arranged in descending order of marks. Where candidates have the same marks at the cut-off point, the older candidate will receive the higher merit position.
Selected candidates must also be declared medically fit as per the Bank's requirements.
