LAHDC SSRB Recruitment 2026 Eligibility
Candidates must satisfy the essential qualification prescribed for the particular post. The required qualification varies according to the post and is given in Annexure-XVI of the notification.
The essential qualification must have been acquired by the closing date of application, 27 November 2026. Candidates whose final examination results are awaited on the crucial date are not eligible to apply.

LAHDC SSRB Exam Pattern 2026
The recruitment examination will be conducted through CBT/TBT/OMR-based examination, as decided by LAHD-SSRB. The examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions for posts at Matric, 10+2 and Graduate levels.

The examination duration is 1 hour 30 minutes. Candidates eligible for scribes will receive 2 hours. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer, against a maximum of 1 mark for each question. The examination medium will be English.
The Board has prescribed minimum qualifying marks of 20% of the total marks. Candidates scoring below the minimum qualifying marks will not be considered for the next stage of recruitment.
LAHDC SSRB Syllabus 2026
General Intelligence
The syllabus includes verbal and non-verbal reasoning topics such as similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, classification, number series, non-verbal series, coding-decoding, Venn diagrams, drawing inferences and other analytical functions.
General Awareness
Questions will cover general awareness, current events and everyday observations. Topics include India and neighbouring countries, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Scientific Research and Sports.
Quantitative Aptitude
The syllabus includes Number Systems, whole numbers, decimals, fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, time and distance, time and work, algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry, tables, graphs, histogram, frequency polygon, bar diagram and pie chart, depending on the level of the post.
English Language
The English syllabus includes vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and correct usage. For the 10+2 level, topics also include spotting errors, fill in the blanks, spellings, idioms and phrases, one-word substitution, sentence improvement, active and passive voice, direct and indirect narration, sentence arrangement, cloze passage and comprehension.
LAHDC SSRB Selection Process 2026
Recruitment to the advertised posts will be made through a CBT/TBT/OMR-based objective examination. Selection will be carried out according to the applicable rules and the recruitment requirements of the concerned departments.
Based on the marks and merit in the written examination, candidates will be provisionally shortlisted for Document Verification.
For posts with up to five vacancies in a category, candidates may be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:20. For posts with more than five vacancies in a category, candidates may be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10, subject to a minimum of 100 candidates and the prescribed qualifying marks. The Board may vary the ratio depending on departmental requirements.
Where a skill test such as a Physical Efficiency Test is prescribed as part of the essential qualification, it will be conducted on a qualifying basis.
