ECIL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Apprenticeship Period
The apprenticeship tenure will be for one year. The training is scheduled to commence from 02 November 2026.
ECIL ITI Apprentice Selection Process 2026
Candidates will be selected on the basis of ITI marks merit.
As specified in the notification, 70% of the seats will be engaged with Government ITI students and 30% of the seats with Private ITI students.
The date of original document verification will be communicated to candidates through email. Shortlisted candidates are required to attend document verification at the prescribed venue within the specified time.

ECIL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates residing in all districts of Telangana State only are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in any Government, PSU or private organization are not eligible.
- PwD candidates must have a degree of disability of 40% or above.
- All qualifications must be from recognized Indian institutes.
- Only online registered applications will be accepted.

How to Apply for ECIL ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Candidates have to complete the application process in two steps.
Step 1: Register on Apprenticeship Portal
Eligible candidates must first register themselves on the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship's apprenticeship portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
Step 2: Apply on ECIL Website
After registration on the apprenticeship portal, candidates must submit the online application through the ECIL website under Human Resources → Current Job Openings.
The notification specifically states that candidates registered on the MSDE apprenticeship portal must also submit the application through the ECIL website. Applications submitted through the ECIL website will only be accepted and considered.

ECIL ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Important Instructions
Selected candidates will have to execute a Contract of Apprenticeship before commencement of training. After completing the training period, apprentices have to undergo a practical test to determine their proficiency in the designated trade. The National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) will be issued by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to candidates who pass the test.
The apprenticeship engagement does not create any obligation for employment with ECIL after completion of training. Candidates completing the apprenticeship will not have any right to claim employment in ECIL.
