POWERGRID Corporation of India Limited, a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. CC/01/2026 for recruitment to various Non-Executive Posts. Posts and Essential Qualification
1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical) – DTE
- Full-time regular 3-year Diploma in Electrical / Electrical (Power) / Electrical and Electronics / Power Systems Engineering / Power Engineering (Electrical)
- Minimum 70% marks for General / OBC (NCL) / EWS candidates
- Pass marks for SC / ST / PwBD candidates
- Higher qualification like B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / M.E. with or without diploma is not allowed
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil) – DTC
- Full-time regular 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 70% marks for General / OBC (NCL) / EWS candidates
- Pass marks for SC / ST / PwBD candidates
- Higher qualification like B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / M.E. with or without diploma is not allowed
3. Diploma Trainee (Survey) – DTS
- Full-time regular 3-year Diploma in Survey Engineering
- OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with Survey as a subject
- Minimum 70% marks
- Higher qualification like B.E. / B.Tech. is not allowed
4. Junior Officer Trainee (HR) – JOT (HR)
- Three-year full-time regular Graduate Degree in BBA / BBM / BBS or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 60% marks for General / EWS / OBC (NCL) candidates
- Post Graduate Degree / Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent higher qualification is not allowed
5. Junior Officer Trainee (F&A) – JOT (F&A)
- Inter CA / Inter CMA
- Post Graduate Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / CA / CMA or equivalent higher qualification is not allowed
6. Junior Technician Trainee (Survey) – JTT (Survey)
- Full-time regular 2-year ITI (Surveyor) from recognized and government-approved ITI / NCVET / SCVT
- Higher qualification like Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. with or without ITI is not allowed
Important Eligibility Conditions
- Upper age limit: 27 years as on 11.05.2026
- Final year / semester students expecting results by 15.07.2026 are provisionally eligible, subject to obtaining the required marks
- Candidates must submit an undertaking that they do not possess higher qualification where such higher qualification is barred
- Only Indian Nationals aged 18 years or above are eligible
Pay Scale and Salary
For DTE / DTC / DTS / JOT (HR) / JOT (F&A)
- Training Period: 1 year
- Pay during training: ₹24,000 – 3% – 1,08,000 (IDA) at S0 level with basic pay of ₹24,000
- IDA, HRA and perks @ 12% of basic pay per month during training
- After successful training: absorbed as Junior Engineer Gr-IV / Junior Officer Gr-IV at S1 level in the pay scale of ₹25,000 – 3% – 1,17,500 (IDA)
- Approximate annual CTC: ₹12.7 lakh
For JTT (Survey)
- Training Period: 1 year
- Pay during training: ₹21,000 – 3% – 72,000 (IDA) at W2 level with basic pay of ₹21,000
- IDA, HRA and perks @ 12% of basic pay per month during training
- After successful training: absorbed as Junior Technician at W3 level in the pay scale of ₹21,500 – 3% – 74,000 (IDA)
- Approximate annual CTC: ₹10.9 lakh
Service Agreement Bond
For DTE / DTC / DTS / JOT (HR) / JOT (F&A)
- General / OBC (NCL) / EWS: ₹2,50,000
- SC / ST / PwBD: ₹1,25,000
- Minimum service period after successful training: 3 years
For JTT (Survey)
