The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), a Schedule A multi-divisional Central Public Sector Undertaking, has released the official Recruitment Notification No. 01/2026 dated 07.05.2026 for engagement of various posts on temporary contract basis in FACT Engineering and Design Organisation (FEDO) or in any projects of FACT FEDO. Note: Relaxation in maximum age limit is permissible for reserved posts as per government directives. Standard X certificate with date of birth will be considered as proof of age.

Consolidated Pay Structure

Note: Higher consolidated pay will be considered for those with higher relevant experience at 3% for each completed year of additional experience, subject to maximum indicated.

Selection Procedure

1. For Draughtsman and Senior Draughtsman (Post Codes 1-6):
   • Skill test in Engineering Drafting software will be conducted
   • Candidates successful in practical skill test will be assessed and ranked based on marks scored
   • In case of tie: preference based on (a) Completed years of relevant experience, (b) Earlier year of passing qualification, (c) Earlier date of birth
2. For Engineers, Deputy Managers, Senior Managers and Assistant General Managers (Post Codes 7-34):
   • Selection based on marks scored in interview
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification
4. Medical Examination: Candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment medical examination. Only those certified fit by Company's Medical Officer will be offered appointment
5. Panel Preparation: Merit lists will be prepared separately for UR, SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories

Note: Meeting eligibility criteria or being successful in skill test/interview does not confer any right for selection or engagement. Management's decision shall be final.

2. Navigate to Careers → Job Openings → Recruitment Notification 01/2026
3. Click on the Online Registration link
4. Fill all necessary data in the Online Form as prescribed
5. Download and print the Application Form from the website
6. Manually fill the Application Form, sign it, affix photograph
7. Upload the filled Application Form in PDF format in the prescribed place in Online Form
8. Ensure relevant data in Application Form does not differ from Online Form
9. After uploading all documents, submit the Online Form by clicking Submit button (on or before 4:00 PM on 21.05.2026)
10. Prepare hard copy of the uploaded Application Form along with self-attested copies of:
    • Proof of Date of Birth (Std X certificate with DOB or Birth Certificate)
    • Certificates to prove educational qualification from Std X onwards (both mark sheets and pass certificates)
    • Certificates to prove relevant experience mentioned in application
    • COP issued by Board of Apprenticeship Training (if applicable)
    • Apprenticeship Training completion certificate (if any)
    • Certificate showing proof of Caste/EWS/PwBD (if claiming reservation/relaxation)
    • Self Declaration by OBC-NCL candidates (in prescribed format from website)
    • Aadhaar card
11. Send the original uploaded Application Form with all certificates/documents by Speed Post/Registered Post to:
    DGM (HR), HR Department, FEDO Building, FACT, Udyogamandal, PIN 683501
    So as to reach within 10 days from last date of submitting online form (i.e., by 28.05.2026)
12. Superscribe the envelope with: "Application for the post of _______ - Ad.01/2026"
13. For applying to multiple posts, submit separate online applications and send separate applications with documents for each post

• Contract Duration: Engagement for one year or till completion of project, whichever is earlier. Contract renewable at Management's discretion
• Contract Termination: Engagement liable to be terminated by Management with 15 days notice without assigning any reason
• Annual Increment: 3% annual increase on applicable consolidated pay, subject to renewal of contract
• Benefits: Leave, Provident Fund, ESI, Accident Insurance coverage, TA/DA for official travel as per company rules
• Site-based Work: Candidates must be willing to work at site based on project requirements
• Experience Consideration: Only post-qualification experience will be considered. One year apprenticeship training with COP certificate will be considered as experience
• Educational Qualification: Only full-time regular courses recognized by UGC/AICTE/AIU will be considered. Part-time/correspondence/distance/private courses not acceptable
• Foreign Qualifications: Candidates with foreign university qualifications must produce AIU approval/recognition certificate
• EWS Certificate: EWS candidates shall submit certificate of relevant year (income of 2025-26)
• OBC-NCL Certificate: OBC candidates must submit OBC-NCL certificate and self-declaration. If engaged, must produce certificate issued within 6 months prior to joining
• Medical Standards: No relaxation in medical/physical standards. Company Medical Officer's opinion is final
• No Permanent Employment: This engagement does not confer any right for extension of term, permanent appointment or preferential treatment in future appointments
• Already Employed Candidates: FACT work charged employees already engaged in a project cannot be considered from new merit panel for same project
• Communication: All notifications through company website. Individual communications may not be sent. Email communication only through registered email ID
• Document Preservation: Documents of non-selected candidates retained for one year. All selection documents preserved for two years from panel publication
• Jurisdiction: Any dispute will be settled in courts within jurisdiction of Ernakulam, Kerala State only
• Incomplete Applications: Applications without signature, photograph and/or eligibility documents liable to be rejected
