ESIC Notification 2025 : Age Limits (As On 01 July 2025)

• Super Specialist (Full Time/Part Time): Not exceeding 69 years.
• Specialist (Full Time/Part Time): Not exceeding 69 years.
• Senior Resident (3 Years Residency Scheme): Not exceeding 45 years.
• Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories.

Eligibility Criteria

• Super Specialist (Entry Level): MBBS with MD/MS/DNB and DM/DNB in the concerned super specialty from MCI recognized medical college with at least 3 years of experience; for 5-year DM/MCh holders, senior PG residency in last part counts towards experience.
• Super Specialist (Senior Level): MBBS with MD/MS/DNB and DM/DNB in the concerned super specialty with at least 5 years of experience; senior PG residency in 5-year DM/MCh counts towards 5 years’ experience.
• Full Time Contractual Specialist – Junior: MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized university with 3 years’ experience after PG Degree or 5 years’ experience after PG Diploma.
• Full Time Contractual Specialist – Senior: MBBS with PG Degree in concerned specialty with 5 years’ experience in responsible position after PG Degree.
• Part Time Contractual Specialist: PG Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty with 3 years’ experience after PG Degree or 5 years’ experience after PG Diploma.
• Senior Resident (3-year scheme): MBBS with PG Degree/DNB/Diploma or equivalent as per residency scheme in concerned specialty from recognized institution; if not available, MBBS with 2 years’ experience (including 1 year in concerned specialty) from Govt./private hospital (not private clinic) may be appointed for 1 year on contract basis.
• Registration: Candidates must be registered with MCI/UP State Medical Council before joining if selected.
• Reservation/relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates must produce valid certificates in prescribed Government of India format for reservation/age relaxation benefits.
• Senior Residency tenure: Candidates who have already completed 3 years Senior Residency in Govt. institutions need not apply under the scheme.

Salary

• Full Time Super Specialist (Entry Level): Rs. 2,00,000/- per month.
• Full Time Super Specialist (Senior Level): Rs. 2,40,000/- per month.
• Part Time Super Specialist (Entry Level): Rs. 1,00,000/- per month (16 hrs/week) + emergency/additional hours remuneration as per ESIC HQ OM dated 13.04.2022.
• Part Time Super Specialist (Senior Level): Rs. 1,50,000/- per month (16 hrs/week) + emergency/additional hours remuneration as per rules.
• Full Time Contractual Specialist (Junior): Level‑11 as per 7th CPC + admissible allowances (on “no work no pay” basis).
• Full Time Contractual Specialist (Senior): Level‑12 as per 7th CPC + admissible allowances (on “no work no pay” basis).
• Part Time Contractual Specialist: Rs. 60,000/- per month + Rs. 15,000/- for emergency visit beyond duty hours (if willing), as per HQ instructions.
• Senior Resident (3 Years Scheme): Level‑11 as per 7th CPC + admissible allowances; Rs. 1,350/- deducted if only Diploma, Rs. 2,250/- deducted if no PG degree.
• Note: Salary/fees are subject to revision as per Govt. of India / ESIC HQ orders from time to time.

Mode Of Selection

• Walk‑in‑interview at ESIC Hospital, Sahibabad on scheduled dates for Super Specialist, Specialist and Senior Resident posts.
• Verification of original documents and eligibility at the venue before interview (document verification generally up to around 11:30 am; no candidate entertained after the cut‑off time).
• Final selection based on interview (and eligibility criteria including qualification, experience, age and reservation norms).
• Vacancy position may increase or decrease and the competent authority reserves the right to fill or not fill any post.

How to Apply ESIC Online Form 2025

• Download and fill the application in the prescribed Bio‑Data format available on the ESIC website / notification.
• Affix a recent passport size photograph on the application form.
• Bring original documents and one set of self‑attested photocopies of all testimonials, including: MBBS and PG degree/diploma certificates, attempt certificates, 10th certificate (DOB proof), MCI/State Registration, and valid SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD certificates as applicable.
• Bring the Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (if applicable) in favour of “ESI Fund Account No. 1” from a scheduled bank, issued after the advertisement date.
• Report in person to the office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP, on the scheduled walk‑in date at 10:00 am sharp for document verification and interview.
• No advance online application is required; appearance with complete documents on walk‑in date is treated as application.

Important Instructions

• Candidates must bring all original certificates and one set of self‑attested photocopies on the day of interview; incomplete documents will lead to rejection with no relaxation allowed.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview and candidates have to arrange their own stay and travel.
• Candidates seeking reservation (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD) must produce valid and latest certificates in the prescribed Government of India format; OBC certificate should not be older than one year from interview date.
• Candidates must be registered with MCI/UP State Medical Council before joining, if selected.
• Candidates working in Government establishments must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.
• Doctors who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency in a Government institution under the residency scheme need not apply under the scheme.
• Selected Specialists/Super Specialists must obtain and submit a professional indemnity policy for the required insured amount within 7 days of engagement.
• The number of vacancies may increase or decrease and the competent authority reserves the right to cancel or not fill any post without assigning reasons.
