DHS Erode Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
Medical Officer (HWC)
Candidates must possess an MBBS Degree awarded by a University or Institution recognized by the UGC for the purpose of its grants. The course must be approved by the Medical Council of India. The notification specifies an age limit of up to 40 years for this post.

Successful completion of the prescribed basic training course for Multi-purpose Health Workers is also required. Senior Tuberculosis Laboratory Supervisor (STLS)
Candidates must be graduates and possess a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent from a Government-recognized institution. A permanent two-wheeler driving licence, minimum two-month computer operations certificate and at least one year of experience in RNTCP are required.
Counsellor (ICTC)
Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Anthropology or Human Development, or a Diploma in Nursing with at least three years of experience in HIV/AIDS. Candidates recruited from the community of people infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS may be considered with graduation in any field or Diploma in Nursing and at least one year of experience in HIV/AIDS.
Lab Technician (ICTC)
Candidates should possess a two-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a State Government-approved institution. Laboratory Technicians without DMLT may continue if they have completed a certificate course in Medical Laboratory Technology and have more than five years of experience working in ICTC.
Refrigeration Mechanic
Candidates must possess an ITI certificate in Refrigeration Mechanic and Air-Conditioning along with one year of experience.
Security Guard
Candidates should have passed 8th Standard and be able to read and write.
Data Entry Operator
