DHFWS WB Notification 2025 : Age Limits (As On 01 July 2025)

• Minimum Age limit : 21 Years
• Maximum Age limit : 40 Years
• Age Relaxation is Applicable as per Rules.

Eligibility Criteria

• Staff Nurse: 

  Completed GNM course from an institute recognized by the I Indian Nursing Council (INC). or West Bengal Nursing Council (lNC). OR
  The Candidate should have completed B.Sc. Nursing Course
  Must be registered under WBNC.
  Candidate should have Proficiencv in local languase.

• ANM (Community Health Assistant -Urban): 

  Must have passed ANM course from an Institute recognized by the lndian Nursing Council and be registered with the West Bengal Nursing Council Should be proficient in Bengali and permanent resident ofthe District for which application is made. Or
  Must have passed GNM course from an Institute recognized by the Indian Nursing council and be registered with the West Bengal Nursing Council.
  Should be proficient in Bengali and permanent resident of the District for which application is made.

• Staff Nurse: 

  Completed GNM course from an institute recognized by the I Indian Nursing Council (INC), or West Bengal Nursing Council (INC). OR The Candidate should have completed B.Sc. Nursing Course
  Must be registered under WBNC
  Candidate chould have Proficiency in local language

• Counsellor-XVFC: 

  Graduation in Social Science from recognized institute.
  Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of MS-Office and other computer skills required for Office Work.
  Fluency in local languages both in writing and speaking.
  Two years working experience in Health Sector / Social Sector.

Salary

• Staff Nurse: Rs. 25,000/- Per Month
• ANM (Community Health Assistant -Urban): Rs. 13,000/ - Per Month
• Staff Nurse: Rs. 25,000/- Per Month
• Counsellor-XVFC: Rs. 20,000/- Per Month

• Eligible candidates should apply online in the prescribed format as given in the Department's website from 11 am of 12.11.2025 till Midnight of 26.11.2025 fot the mentioned post. 
• Hard copy / Print copy of online registration form may be downloaded from the link http://hr.wbhealth.gov.in/Index.aspx-> "Application Print" and should be retained by all applicants for document verification purpose. Without registration form, no candidates will be entertained for original testimonials verification by the authority.
• No need to send hard copy / print copy of the online registration form by post.

Important Instructions

• Only online applications will be accepted; incomplete or incorrect forms will be cancelled.
• Applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal and know the local language.
• Photo and signature must be properly uploaded, or the application will be rejected.
• Meeting essential criteria is minimum eligibility only, not a guarantee of selection.
• All qualifications must be completed before the first date of online application.
• Experience will be counted after obtaining essential qualification.
• Ph.D./M.Phil will not be counted towards experience (if applicable).
• Caste certificate must be issued by West Bengal authorities before the first application date.
