DHFWS Purulia Notification 2025 : Age Limits (As On 01 July 2025)
- Minimum Age limit : 18 Years

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be permanent residents of West Bengal and possess adequate knowledge of the local language.
- Ophthalmic Assistant: Higher Secondary with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and 2-year Diploma in Paramedical Ophthalmic Assistants / Optometry & Ophthalmic Technique recognized by Government of West Bengal; desirable one-year training after Diploma in Government Hospital/Clinical Establishment (preference to RIO/other Govt hospitals with stipend).
- Multi Rehabilitation Worker (NPHCE): Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy with minimum 2 years’ hospital experience; desirable Master degree in Physiotherapy.
- Laboratory Technician (NUHM): Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biological Science and DMLT from institution recognized by Govt of WB/State Medical Faculty/AICTE; knowledge of computer, MS Office and Internet.
- GDMO/MO (NUHM): MBBS registered under West Bengal Medical Council; preference for PG diploma/degree in G&O or Paediatrics.
- Staff Nurse (NUHM): GNM or B.Sc. Nursing completed from INC-recognized institute, registered under WBNC, proficiency in local language; desirable hospital experience.
- Community Health Assistant (Urban): ANM course from INC-recognized institute or GNM; WBNC registration; proficiency in Bengali and permanent resident of concerned district.
- Pharmacist (NUHM): D-Pharma (Allopathic) recognized by Government of West Bengal and “A” category registration under WB Pharmacy Council; computer proficiency with MS Office & Internet; higher qualification gets weightage.
- Facility Consultant Quality Manager: MBBS/Dental/AYUSH/Nursing/Life Science/Social Science graduate with Master in Hospital Administration/Health Management and 1 year public health/hospital administration experience; preference for healthcare quality experience; fluency in English, computer literacy and knowledge of laws/policies; good communication skills desirable.
- TB HV/STS/STLS/District PMDT & TB-HIV Coordinator: Science graduate with specific DMLT/BMLT/MSW/experience requirements, two-wheeler license and computer proficiency as specified in notification.
- CHO (Nursing): B.Sc. Nursing with integrated BPCCHN (2021 or later) with WBNC registration and Bengali/local language proficiency OR GNM/Post Basic B.Sc./B.Sc. Nursing before 2021 with WBNC registration and CPCH training; MS Office and Internet competency desirable.
- CHO (BAMS): BAMS from recognized institute/university with registration/provisional registration from Paschim Banga Ayurved Parishad and Bengali/local language proficiency; MS Office & Internet desirable.

Salary
- Ophthalmic Assistant and Multi Rehabilitation Worker: Rs. 18,000/- per month.
- Lab Technician (NUHM) and Pharmacist (NUHM): Rs. 22,000/- per month.
- GDMO and MO (NUHM): Rs. 60,000/- per month.
- Staff Nurse (NUHM): Rs. 25,000/- per month.
- Community Health Assistant (Urban): Rs. 13,000/- per month.
- Facility Consultant Quality Manager: Rs. 35,000/- per month.
- TB HV: Rs. 18,000/- per month; STS and STLS: Rs. 25,000/- per month; District PMDT & TB-HIV Coordinator: Rs. 26,000/- per month.
- CHO (Nursing) and CHO (BAMS): Rs. 20,000/- per month plus maximum incentive of Rs. 5,000/- per month as PLI based on approved parameters; Rs. 10,000/- per month stipend during CPCH training for GNM/Post Basic/B.Sc. Nursing and BAMS candidates.

Mode Of Selection
- Selection is based on a post-wise marking scheme including proportionate academic marks (Class X/XII, diploma, degree, PG), experience marks, computer tests, written tests, and interviews as detailed against each post.
- Examples include: 50-mark panels for Ophthalmic Assistant and Multi Rehabilitation Worker, 100 marks (DMLT score + computer test) for Lab Technician, 100 marks (final exam, PG, experience) for GDMO/MO, and 100 marks (written test and interview) or (academic and interview) for CHO posts.
- The selection process is conducted by the District Level Selection Committee (DLSC), Purulia, and the Samiti reserves the right to cancel recruitment at any stage.

- Candidates must apply online only through www.wbhealth.gov.in under E-Governance → Online Recruitment from 01/12/2025 (10:00 hrs) to 15/12/2025.
- No physical documents are to be sent; applicants must appear in person for document verification with all original documents and self-attested photocopies supporting every claim.
