- Sanitary Superintendent: Passed Sanitary Inspector Exam + Minimum 15 years experience in Public Health OR 5 years as Public Health Supervisor
- Asst. Public Health Supervisor: Passed Sanitary Inspector Exam + Minimum 10 years experience in Public Health OR 5 years as Sanitary Inspector
- Asst. Sanitary Inspector: Passed Sanitary Inspector Diploma Exam + 5 years experience in Public Health
- Asst. Estate Officer / Asst. TDO: B.E. (Civil) OR Diploma (Civil) with minimum 2 years experience
- Inspector: B.E. (Civil)
- Sub Inspector: Diploma in Civil Engineering OR B.E. (Civil) or higher
- Experience (wherever required) will be counted only after acquiring the prescribed educational qualification

- Sanitary Superintendent: Pay Matrix Level-8 ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400
- Asst. Public Health Supervisor: First 3 years Fixed ₹49,600 → then Level-7 ₹39,900 – ₹1,26,600
- Asst. Sanitary Inspector: First 3 years Fixed ₹40,800 → then Level-5 ₹29,200 – ₹92,300
- Asst. Estate Officer / Asst. TDO: Pay Matrix Level-9 ₹53,100 – ₹1,67,800
- Inspector: Pay Matrix Level-8 ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400
