For Vehicle Driver

• The driving licence should have been issued at least 3 years before the last date of application.

Preferential Qualification for Vehicle Driver

• At least 2 years of service in Territorial Army, or
• 'B' or 'C' Certificate of National Cadet Corps.

For Enforcement Driver

• Must have passed Class 8 from a recognized institution.
• Must possess a valid driving licence for transport vehicle and light motor vehicle as prescribed.
• The licence should have been issued at least 3 years before the last date of application.

Preferential Qualification for Enforcement Driver

• High School pass from a recognized board,
• Knowledge of vehicle repair,
• At least 3 years of service in the Territorial Army.
