Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC Selection Post Phase XIV Recruitment 2026 Notification for various Selection Posts under different Ministries, Departments, and Organizations of the Government of India. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official SSC website.

The online application process starts on 13 April 2026 and the last date to submit the application form is 04 May 2026 up to 11:00 PM. The last date for online fee payment is 05 May 2026. SSC will also provide an application correction window from 11 May 2026 to 13 May 2026. The Computer Based Examination is tentatively scheduled for June 2026.

SSC has invited online applications for multiple post categories advertised under Selection Post Phase XIV. The vacancy details are region-wise and post-wise, and candidates need to check the post details relevant to their Regional Office before applying. SSC has clearly stated that the vacancies are tentative and may be altered, changed, cancelled, withdrawn, or merged at any stage of recruitment.

Educational Qualification

The required qualification depends on the post applied for. Broadly, posts are available under the following educational levels:

• Matriculation level posts
• Higher Secondary (10+2) level posts
• Graduation and above level posts

Candidates must ensure that they possess the essential qualification for the specific post on or before the closing date of application.

Nationality

• Citizen of India, or
• Subject of Nepal, or
• Subject of Bhutan, or
• Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 01 January 1962 with intention of permanent settlement, or
• Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit

The age limit is post-specific and is calculated as on 01 January 2026. Different posts carry different age bands such as:

• 18 to 25 years

Exam Pattern

Exam Details

• All questions will be objective type multiple-choice questions.
• There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
• The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in Hindi and English only.
• If the exam is held in multiple shifts, marks will be normalized.

Minimum Cut-Off for Shortlisting

Shortlisting Ratio

• For up to 5 vacancies: shortlisted in the ratio of 1:30.
• For more than 5 vacancies: shortlisted in the ratio of 1:15, subject to a minimum of 150 candidates.
• For vacancies reserved for PwBD / PwBD-Others / ESM, all qualifying candidates meeting the minimum cut-off may be shortlisted.

How to Apply

2. Complete One-Time Registration if not already registered.
3. Login using your Registration Number and Password.
4. Open the link for Phase-XIV/2026/Selection Posts Examination.
5. Fill the online application form carefully.
6. Capture and upload your live photo through webcam or mobile device.
7. Upload scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format.
8. Select the examination center preference and other required details.
9. Pay the application fee, if applicable.
10. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

Important Instructions

• Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications for each post category.
• Application is accepted provisionally, and detailed scrutiny will be done later by the User Department.
• Candidates who qualify in CBE must upload all required documents on the portal.
• Failure to upload documents will lead to summary rejection of candidature.
• Common candidates applying for more than one post level will get one admit card for each level and must appear only once for each level.
• Wrong or incomplete information at the document verification stage can lead to rejection.
• PwBD candidates must choose the correct disability sub-category while filling the form.
