Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Age will be calculated as on 01-08-2026.
• Candidates born not before 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2008 are eligible.

Age Relaxation

• SC / ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• PwBD + OBC: 13 years
• PwBD + SC/ST: 15 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service

Educational Qualification

For Junior Hindi Translator / Junior Translation Officer / Junior Translator

• Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level; or
• Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level; or
• Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or as medium of examination at degree level.
• Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or 2 years’ translation experience in Central/State Government office.

For Senior Hindi Translator / Senior Translator

• Master’s Degree in Hindi/English or relevant combination of Hindi and English at degree level.
• Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or 3 years’ translation experience in Central/State Government office.
