Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years
- Candidate must not have been born earlier than 01 January 1984 and not later than 01 January 2005.
- Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC, ST, SEBC, Women and Ex-Servicemen.
- Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PwD candidates with 40% or more permanent disability.
- PwD candidates belonging to SEBC/SC/ST categories are eligible for cumulative age relaxation of 15 years.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Library Science or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
Other Eligibility Conditions
- Candidate must be a citizen of India and a domicile of the State of Odisha.
- Candidate must be able to speak, read and write Odia.
- Candidate must have passed Odia in H.S.C. or equivalent examination, or passed Odia language test equivalent to Middle School Standard.
- Candidates with qualifications from outside Odisha must furnish equivalence and affiliation proof.
- Government servants must produce No Objection Certificate before document verification.
