Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a statutory authority under Ministry of Railways, has released the official notification for the recruitment of 40 Site Engineer posts (30 Civil + 10 Electrical) on contractual basis. Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE/UGC/Government of India with minimum 55% marks (For SC/ST candidates 50%). Only full-time regular courses shall be considered.
Experience Required: Minimum 02 years of post-qualification experience in Central Govt./State Govt./Central Govt. PSUs/State Govt. PSUs/Other Private Organizations in the relevant field of Construction/Development/Electrical work/MEP etc.
Desirable/Preferred Skills: Building Construction works.
Note on Experience: Internship/Apprenticeship/Training/Teaching/Academic/Freelancing experience shall NOT be treated as qualifying experience.
Age Limit (as on 22.05.2026): Maximum age 45 years as on closing date.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation shall be applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD/Ex-Servicemen. If a candidate is eligible for age relaxation on two or more grounds, only the highest admissible age relaxation shall be applicable.
Remuneration:
- Monthly consolidated remuneration: ₹76,000/- (all inclusive)
- Statutory deductions such as Income Tax, Professional Tax etc. shall be made as applicable
- Employer's contribution towards EPF shall form part of the CTC
Selection Procedure
- Screening of Applications: In case of high number of applicants, Authority will short list the applicants on the basis of selection criteria and only the shortlisted applicants will be called/allowed for the interview
- Selection Criteria: Selection will be made on the basis of:
- Last drawn Gross Salary
- Relevant work experience in Civil Construction/Projects supervision (minimum 02 years)
- Percentage marks obtained in B.Tech Civil Engineering/Electrical Engineering
- Interview performance
- Weightage will be given for M.Tech qualification
- Weightage for candidates directly worked in Indian Railways/Central PSU/State PSU/Govt Dept for minimum cumulative period of 01 year
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates shall produce original documents along with self-attested photocopies in support of age, qualification, experience, caste/category, identity and address proof at the time of interview
- Medical Examination: Candidates must be medically fit and selected candidates shall have to undergo medical examination at their own cost before joining
- Police Verification: The candidates should be clear from criminal cases. A police verification & clearance certificate by the appropriate police authorities shall be submitted before joining

- Download the Application Form (Annexure-I) and Checklist (Annexure-II) from the official website: https://rlda.indianrailways.gov.in
- Fill the Application Form in block letters using blue ball pen
- Affix recent passport size photograph (not older than 03 months) with crossed signature on the application form
- Prepare the following self-attested photocopies of documents:
- Matriculation certificate (age proof)
- Degree certificates & mark sheets (full set) - B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Electrical Engineering
- Experience certificates indicating nature & duration of work
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) if applicable - must be valid for current financial year 2025-26
- Last three months' payslips and Form-16 of last Financial Year (2025-26)
- Photo ID & address proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport)
- Four recent passport size photographs
- Updated CV
- Fill the checklist (Annexure-II) and verify all documents
- Candidates working in Government/PSU/Autonomous bodies shall give an undertaking regarding no dues or produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer

Other Important Information
- Nature of Engagement: This is purely temporary and contractual in nature. Selection on these posts will NOT confer any right whatsoever for regular employment in RLDA
- Contract Duration: Initially for upto one year extendable subject to review of candidate's performance and requirement of RLDA projects
- Contract Termination: One-month advance notice shall be required from either side for termination of contract. The engagement shall automatically cease on expiry of the contract period unless extended by RLDA
- Posting Location: Selected candidates will be posted in RLDA project at any location as per its requirement across PAN India
- EWS Certificate: Income and Asset Certificate for 2024-25 issued by the Competent Authority during the current financial year only shall be accepted
- OBC Certificate: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authority in prescribed format must be issued during current financial year or 2025-26 clearly indicating Non-Creamy Layer status
- Language Requirement: If caste/category certificate is issued in language other than Hindi or English, certified translation must be produced
- No Travel Expenses: No travelling, lodging or boarding expenses shall be reimbursed for attending the interview and candidates shall make their own arrangements
- Undertaking Required: Candidate will give an undertaking at the time of interview that he/she will be de-barred for participation in all types of future assignments in RLDA, if they refuse to join after issue of offer of appointment
- False Information: Furnishing false/tampered documents or any misconduct will invite legal action, disqualification, debarment and/or termination
- Modification Rights: RLDA reserves the right to modify, restrict, increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the engagement process at any stage
- No Correspondence: No correspondence shall be entertained from candidates found ineligible or not selected
- Updates: Any corrigendum, clarification or update shall be hosted only on RLDA website under Career section. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the website
- Jurisdiction: Any dispute arising out of this notice shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Courts at New Delhi only
