Ordnance Factory Chanda Recruitment 2026 Notification Out for 400 Tenure Based DBW Posts

Ordnance Factory Chanda, a unit of Munitions India Limited, has released the official notification for engagement of Tenure Based DBW (Danger Building Worker) posts on a contract basis. As per Advertisement No. 2544/Per(IV)/OFCH/Tenure DBW/01/2026, offline applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens to work at Ordnance Factory Chanda, Maharashtra for an initial period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of four years depending on factory requirement and individual performance.

A total of 400 vacancies have been announced for the skilled post of Tenure Based DBW. The basic pay is Rs. 19,900 + DA. Candidates having NCVT/NAC certification in AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant) or related feeder trades are eligible to apply. The age limit for General candidates is 18 to 40 years, and the application fee is Nil. The selection will be based on NCTVT (NAC) marks and Trade Test/Practical Test.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on marks scored in NCTVT (NAC) and Trade Test/Practical Test only.
• Merit list will be prepared on combined marks of NAC and Trade Test/Practical Test.
• Weightage of NAC marks: 80%
• Weightage of Trade Test/Practical Test: 20%
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

Remuneration / Salary

• Basic Pay: Rs. 19,900 + DA
• Central DA as applicable
• House Rent Allowance where company quarter is not available
• Annual increase of 3% subject to satisfactory performance
• Risk Allowance and Night Duty Allowance where applicable
• EPF and bonus as per applicable rules
